Diane

Surrounded by family in the clothing business, Diane had a rich tradition of understanding apparel and design.  While studying for a graduate degree at USC, Diane fell in love with retail through a part time job which then led her to experience many positions in the industry such as manager, buyer, and eventually owner of her own store in Newport Beach, California.  When retail hours felt restrictive, she accepted an opportunity to work for Ralph Lauren selling his accessories.  Twelve years later, she was ready to create her own accessories line . The family story continues as her daughter Caroline joins her and shares in all aspects of running the business through a new, satellite studio in New York City.

Carly

Growing up with vintage pearls and old African beads hanging from door handles and desk chairs, Carly has been exposed to the art of vintage and antique jewelry before she could grasp just how old and special it was.  Never shy to voice her design aesthetic, she would approve, reject, and create with her mom between school and sports.  After graduating from Brown University in Providence, RI with a degree in Visual Arts and Religious Studies, she is excited to assist her mom and take over the manufactured line entitled “daughter” with a design aesthetic committed to the past.
